We wanna publish a new online design magazine to give other great artists a chance to represent their selves! You know it’s all about the fame! The Magazine will be published 2 times in the year and the Download will be for free.

Prize

The best submissions will not only be featured in the Magazine. They get the possibility to publish a small portfolio and a interview in the Magazine.

HOW Magazine's 12th Annual Interactive Design Awards

Enter your work in HOW magazine's Interactive Design Competition. All winning entries will be featured in HOW's March 2011 Design Annual and will receive a $100 discount toward registration for the 2011 HOW Design Conference. One Best of Show winner will be prominently featured in the March 2011 Design Annual and will be our guest at the 2011 HOW Conference (round-trip airfare, hotel and registration paid by HOW).

Interieur 2010: Call for Entries

Interieur 2010 is the 21st edition of this biennial international design competition organized by the Interieur Foundation in Kortrijk, Belgium.

The event debuted in 1968 as Europe's first International Design Biennale with a focus on product development and creative innovation.

The theme for this year is "Designs For A New World."

Deadline for registration is July 15, 2010.

Embracing Our Differences

Embracing Our Differences invites artists, photographers, professionals, amateurs, teachers and students to participate in its 8th annual visual art exhibit celebrating diversity. 45 artists will be selected for the exhibit. The Embracing Our Differences exhibit will be displayed throughout the months of April and May 2011 at Island Park along Sarasota’s beautiful bayfront. Since 2004, the exhibit has been viewed by more than 850,000 visitors. The exhibit will contain 39 billboard-sized (16 feet wide by 12 1/2 feet high) images of the selected artworks. In the judges’ discretion, an additional six “honorable mention” selections may be made.

Final selections will be chosen based on artistic excellence in reflection of the theme “Embracing Our Differences”. The art-work will also be evaluated on how effectively it will read outdoors when enlarged to billboard size – 16 feet wide by 12 1/2 feet high. Artists are encouraged to use bold saturated colors and strong lines. Final selections will be made by a 3-judge panel of professional artists, curators and art professionals.

There is no submission fee nor limit on the number of entries.

The mission of Embracing Our Differences is to use art as a catalyst for creating awareness and promoting the value of diversity, the benefits of inclusion and the significance of the active rejection of hatred and prejudice.

Eligibility

Artists, photographers, professionals, amateurs, teachers and students are eligible. National and international submissions are encouraged.

Prize

A total of $3,000.00 in awards will be presented.
